Elena and Iván are a couple about to have their first child. Being architects and finding life in the big city difficult, they decide to move to a big cork plantation Elena has inherited. Trying to understand the long time settled practices of the cork harvest process and its experienced workers, reforming the house and adapting to their new life in the countryside is not as easy as they were expecting. Basque filmmaker Mikel Gurrea established himself directing several shorts. For his first feature film he moves to Catalonia and breaks in with a strong and powerful drama about human contradictions and wills.
