Nora is 15 and lives a quiet family life. This changes radically when, during the summer holidays, Libertad, the daughter of their in-house maid, comes from Colombia. An unlikely friendship will grow between the two teenagers but, will it survive cultural and social differences? Libertad is Clara Roquet's first feature film and it benefits from her long experience as a writer in several Catalan films (Carlos Marqués Marcet's 10.000Km, Jaime Rosales's Petra, Ventura Durall's The Offering, etc.). Libertad has won her several awards and nominations, among them last year's Cannes Film Festival's nominations to the Critic's Week Grand Prize and to the Golden Camera.
